being shy

This school year is coming to an end and I must say it was one of my favorites. If I could change one thing though, I would have liked to be more social. I am a very shy person and I have a lot of trouble talking to people that I don't know. I have made a lot of progress being more social since last year but I would have liked to talk to more people and make more friends this year. Last year I went through the whole school year without talking to anyone or making any friends. Every day I would get anxiety about sitting alone during lunch. The day before my first day at Diamond, I told myself that this year would be different and I would actually talk to people and make friendships. I am happy to say that I was able to do this. Coming to a new school where you don't know anyone can be very difficult and overwhelming but I did make friends. And they are amazing friends. I know this year would have been so much different if I had kept to myself and not socialized with anyone like I did last year. I am so glad that I am getting better at being less shy but it is still something that I struggle with and have to work on.

I read this article, "The Lottery Curse", and it seems that winning the lottery turned out to be the worst thing that happened to all the winners. No one used their money wisely. They all spent it so quickly and then ended up losing everything, including their friends and family. It is really unfortunate that there are so many uneducated people out there. If our country's people were smarter then there would be no lottery curse. Instead, people would know how to save and spend their money wisely and in an educated manner. It really is such a shame that billions of dollars are wasted on the poorly educated, stupid, people of this country.

sloths

My friend showed me this video and it is absolutely adorable. It is simply a bucket of baby sloths. They are so cute and this video makes me want one of my own. They look so fun to hug and cuddle up. Sloths are some of the most derpy animals out there and the baby ones are just full of cuteness. They look so happy with their adorable smiles. Their expressions and the way they just chill out is very different than a lot of animals. They are truly a laid back animal. Baby sloths with all their cuteness are really a gift from nature.

if I could be on any tv show....

I would love to be a character on Doctor Who. It would be so amazing to actually travel through space and time with the Doctor. I would want to be a companion of the 10th Doctor(David Tennant). He was my favorite out of all the other Doctors. To go on adventures with the Doctor would really be a dream come true. I would get to meet aliens as well as go back in time and see all these historical events happen right before my eyes. There are an infinite amount of possibilities and they would all turn into exciting adventures with the Doctor.

My favorite animal is a cat. I have loved cats ever since I was little. One of my favorite things is getting to know a cat. Learning their personality and actually becoming friends with them is such a wonderful thing. I know I probably sound like a crazy cat lady but cats and kittens all have personalities. They are not just boring animals (except for my cousin's cats, they really are boring). My cat, Viktor, for example isn't boring at all. I got him when he was still a kitten and he has been deaf for his whole life (he is currently 9 years). Being deaf has made a huge impact in his personality. He isn't as shy because he can't be scared off by loud noises. He is very friendly towards people and he absolutely loves sitting on people's laps while they pet him. One unique thing about Viktor is that he loves to chase his tail. He would do it all the time when he was a kitten and we thought he'd eventually grow out of it as he grew up but 9 years later he is still chasing his tail. It is absolutely adorable. Sometimes my family will say that Viktor grew up into a puppy because of how playful he is and how often he chases his tail.
